WE’VE MOVED! 🥳
Herb’N Harmony is now based out of Yamhill, Oregon 🌲 The ancestral home of our creatrix Jourdan Gailey M.H. The @herbn_harmony logo (made by @lunarlilt) was inspired by the Douglas Fir trees of the Pacific Northwest, so it seems fitting the return to this land has unfolded.
Still offering handcrafted herbal goods and consults…depending on your location these just may occur virtually or shipping may be involved now 😊
Link in bio for our updated website! We would love to assist your journey of creating a more vital land and lifestyle 🌿🙏
SWIPE FOR THE GOOD STUFF 😜 The first roll out of offerings is here 🌿🫶 I realize this list may be overwhelming to some, or you may be unsure of what plant may be a good fit for you…DM me or visit my website to explore a consultation! I am also offering a special offer of a consolidated herbal consultation:: $15 for 15 minutes and I will create a custom blend for you 🫶 (mini consult fee in addition to herbal extract price)

Which plants are calling to you?
Please share if you feel called 🙏
Spring is here and so is the renewal of creativity. I’ve spent much time in contemplation of how I can be best of service to my community of plants and people. The answers are becoming more clear and I continue to pray for clarity. Alas, I will have some physical offerings available soon…formulating for the now with the intention to allow these medicines to flow to whom they are resonate with. Stay tuned, which medicine wants to come home to you?
ROOT MEDICINE…Fall in full power. I was able to sustainably harvest an abundant amount of Soloman’s Seal this week. Fall is the most potent time to harvest root medicines. As I have been prepping these roots for medicine making, the process has evoked deep reflection. Often in herbalism roots are sourced “elsewhere”, as in not necessarily wild crafter or home grown. Many plants used for their roots take years to mature and the preparations take time and many processes. Throughout handling the Soloman’s seal, I felt like I was grasping at small, delicate (yet strong) bones. The sentiment of nourishing your bones became my mantra through the cleansing process. Nourishing your bones feels akin to nourishing your roots. Simmering in the season of ancestry and the unseen, I feel the roots are as unseen as our bones. With every plant we know the roots are there, but we may not always honor and respect them in the same way an eye pleasing flower or leaf shape does. Our bones lie beneath our flesh and rarely get the self care spotlight, yet they support our every move and provide our foundation.
Soloman’s Seal is asking how can you honor your bones more? How can you nourish your roots?
Thanks you, to all my plant relations for your continual wisdom and gifts. May your medicine and message reach far and wide.
Amanita Muscaria 🍄 popularly recognized but also misunderstood. This mushroom variety has been a long time ally for me, and a spirit that commanded my deepest respect early on. In some ways this being was the gateway spirit into cultivating a more ancestral connection and approach to herbalism and communing with nature. My Eastern European and Northern relatives worked with this being heavily in their shamanistic practices. I’m honored to carry the medicine in a good way and craft with it. I’m in the process of extracting these mushrooms for some various magical applications! This mushroom holds so much beauty, lore and mysticism….I’m thinking of hosting a workshop specifically on Amanitas, would you be interested in attending?! 🍄❤️
Every “Halloween” I crave a way of connecting to the roots of this eve without the booze, candy and cheap costumes. I suspect I am not alone? This year the call to honor the wheel of the year (traditional earth based holiday calendar) has been strong, and gathering on this eve feels important to hold space for. Know that this evening will be rooted in connecting to your Ancestors, as this eve was traditionally utilized for in many cultures across the world. Our rituals will center around complete harmony for all involved and Ancestral wisdom, healing and knowledge to flow through and to each participant. Our Ancestors live on through our bones and the stories we carry, this evening we reinvigorate our awareness and honor.
If you’re looking for some pseudo-dark magic spell casting situation, this is not the place for you :)
On this auspicious eve we will explore:
- the European tradition of Samhain and the wheel of the year
-ways to invite deeper connection to your Ancestors, during this most potent time. Pick a lineage or family member whom you would like to honor and connect with during our time together.
- Herbal knowledge around various Plant Spirit medicines and their associations to this time of year and Ancestral work
$30 per person
*Please bring:
- an offering for the group altar
- a sheepskin, blanket or anything you feel cozy in
- something that helps you feel grounded
-a journal and writing utensil
-a photo of a loved one who has passed on that you would like to honor (ideally someone in your ancestral bloodline)

Mama Datura…I always grow her in my front yard. Near my home entrance and close to the corner where I lay my head to sleep. This year she is thriving more than ever, while simultaneously revealing more of her essence to me than previous years. Sometimes “herbalism” looks less like action and more like non action for me. Much of my gardening and creations this season have been in the ethers. Whisperings from the allies, beckoning me more to the spirit world and deeper into relation with all.

Much of my Summer work consists of Pollinator friendly and Native plant focused landscape design. Usually plotting how to convince someone to replace more lawn with biodiversity. Often I’m asked to remove “weeds” that just so happen to be some of my favorite medicinal plants. This photo was taken moments before I dove into the wooded area to harvest some Prickly Ash, while also making the client happy by removing it 🙃

Living on the Mississippi River has brought infinite blessings. This particular Spring, she displays her graceful power for change. May I learn to embody these qualities. This area is usually full of meandering trails, alas the water element has taken over and it is only accessible by kayak.
I now have a WEBSITE🥹🥳🤯
The lessons of Winter have brought me to a place of feeling more inspired to share my work. I’m comfortable being a hermit herbalist and healer; alas I’m answering the call to challenge this. I’ve been in and out of the practitioner sphere for over 10 years, and I’m happy to finally have an online platform to share some current offerings. I invite you to check out the new page, offerings and sign up for my monthly newsletter. Thank you to all who have supported me and my work over the years 🙏 website link in bio
